All RYA courses are run by Adventure Powerboating

A challenging course with two full days of powerboating techniques packed with information.

For people who have had some knowledge of boat handling and seamanship. Courses are run over two days but can be extended to three days for those who require more experience. The course is packed with information with plenty of hands on experience. Lectures will be at held at the Centre in Neyland Marina where the boat is also based. Minimum age is 12 years old and children up to 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

You will be given different situations to work out during the course and various problems to solve.

Most of the time you will be on Marly II our 6.5 metre rib capable of speeds of 50 kts with amazing acceleration, with the 140hp fuel injection 4 stroke engine.
Course numbers are 3:1 students to Instructor so there is plenty of hands on experience for everyone.

RYA Level 2 is of a high standard covering many topics and is not an automatic pass.
