Our hard boat Predator is fully licensed to DOT and MCA
standards with all the safety equipment required and licensed to carry up
to ten divers. Fitted with GPS, radio, fish finders, radar, chart plotters,
VHF, oxygen and LIFT. The MCA Certificate carried by this vessel is your assurance that both vessel and skippers meet and comply with the stringent regulations imposed by the Maritime Coastal Agency, in accordance with the Code of Practice and the RYA.
We also have a 6.5 metre rib called Marly II, used for RYA training.
Len is an expert boatman with 35 years experience of boat handling, from
sailing vessels to safety boat cover, he is also an RYA Instructor and SAA
qualified Advanced Open Water Instructor. All our other boatmen have equal
experience and know the waters like the back of their hands. Being divers
ourselves, we understand the needs of other divers. The boat has its own
Dive Marshall to check you in and out of the water, no other dive charter
goes to so much trouble to ensure your safety.
Predator our hard boat has been featured on BBC Magic Islands, HTV Coast
to Coast and C4 Judy and Richard. Predator is berthed at Neyland Marina
at the bottom on the main walkway into the marina itself. The marina has
toilets, showers, shop and cafe. I can recommend the breakfast and
coffee!
Boat Charters.
Dive Pembrokeshire UK operates a hard
boat, diving most of the Pembrokeshire coastline, from Linney Head to Broad
Haven. Whatever type of diving you wish to do just let us know, we have it
all.
Nothing is too much trouble. Pembrokeshire is the least
dived area in Britain and surprisingly contains some of the finest diving
around. Most of the dive sites are only know to the locals, that was until
recently. Dive Pembrokeshire has taken the lid off the secrets of the area,
by setting up a web page packed with information about diving in Pembrokeshire.
This web site contains most of the dive sites
and wrecks together with a vast wealth of information about Pembrokeshire.
For a list of our dive sites check out Dive Sites
and for a list of our wrecks check out our page on Wrecks.
Our diving takes place around the coastline of Pembrokeshire
covering Skomer Island, Grassholmn, The Smalls, The Haven and areas around
Little Haven, where some of the best diving is to be found.
We also operate in the Milford Haven waterway, where you will find many WW2
wrecks.
Predator As featured
on HTV, BBC and S4C
Predator is 12 metres in length fitted with a Caterpillar
420 hp engine. It has a flying bridge, ideal for watching divers in the water.
At the front of the boat
there is room for four people. Now it has a lift fitted at the back for your use making it easier to get back on board Predator.
The
cruising speed is around 12 knots with a top speed of 18 kts. There are toilets,
cabin and galley on board, with tea & coffee being served all day long.
A stop is made for lunch out at sea, usually by one of the islands, where
you can watch the seals or puffins at play.
At the end of the day we fill
the air tanks for you and drop them back to the marina the next morning for
you.
